Key Technologies

Prolite – Lightweight shell and cuff construction with strategically reinforced structural areas for improved stability, efficient power transfer and responsive skiing without unnecessary weight.

Junior Performance Shell – A specially designed shell that delivers smooth, progressive flex for lighter junior skiers. Reinforced zones provide stability and support while allowing natural movement.

Power Chassis – Additional reinforcement beneath the foot, between the toe and heel, improves torsional stability and enhances ski grip and edge control.

PP Shell / PP Cuff – Both the shell and cuff are manufactured from lightweight polypropylene, reducing overall boot weight and making the boots easier to put on and take off.

Low Cuff – All Sizes – A cuff profile 15 mm lower than a standard design accommodates children's shorter lower legs and supports natural movement and balance.

Team Silver Liner – A comfortable junior-specific liner with soft materials against the foot for all-day comfort. Its heat-moldable construction allows improved fit customization.

Fully Heat Moldable – Heat-moldable liner materials allow the boot's internal fit to be adjusted to the individual shape of the skier's foot, improving comfort and support.

Junior Tongue Profile – A liner tongue specifically shaped for children's feet improves comfort around the instep and makes entering the boot easier.

30 mm Velcro Strap – A durable, adjustable power strap that provides additional support around the lower leg and helps maintain secure contact between the skier and the boot.

Polycarbonate Buckles – Lightweight, durable buckles that provide secure closure and straightforward adjustment.

4-Buckle Closure System – Four independently adjustable buckles allow precise pressure distribution across the foot and lower leg, providing secure retention and improved control.

98 mm Junior Last – A junior-specific last designed around the anatomical proportions of growing feet, offering a supportive fit for young skiers.

15° Forward Lean – A balanced forward-lean angle that promotes a natural skiing stance and supports effective ski control.

4° Ramp Angle – The internal foot angle helps position the skier for balanced weight distribution and efficient movement.

Junior-Specific Geometry – The combination of shell shape, cuff height and progressive flex is adapted to the proportions and needs of younger skiers.

RTX Single Component Grip Pads – Durable alpine sole pads designed to provide reliable grip and long-lasting wear.

Size Adjuster – Sizing inserts can be placed beneath the footbed to reduce the internal boot fit by approximately half a size for more precise adjustment.

Fit Recommendation

ATOMIC HAWX KIDS 4 are ideal for young skiers who have mastered the basics and are developing greater confidence, speed and technical ability. The supportive 55 flex provides more responsiveness while maintaining the progressive flexibility needed by lighter junior skiers.

The junior-specific last, lower cuff and heat-moldable Team Silver liner help provide a secure, comfortable fit for growing feet. The four-buckle closure and 30 mm Velcro power strap allow more precise adjustment and reliable support throughout the skiing day.

Children's ski boots should be selected according to accurate foot measurements rather than allowing excessive room for growth. Professional boot fitting is recommended to ensure appropriate comfort, foot retention and compatibility with the selected ski bindings.
