Using the manual vacuum pump:

• Vacuuming with the manual pump is simple, because it requires no batteries or electric outlets. You can use it to vacuum pack all Status accessories.
• Use the manual vacuum pump to vacuum the air from vacuum containers that are storing your fruits and vegetables, flour, coffee, herbs, finished meals or other foodstuffs whose freshness and shelf-life you want to extend and whose nutritional value and aroma you want to preserve. Vacuum pacing also prevents unpleasant odours from spreading in your refrigerator and kitchen.
• Vacuum also preserves the enzymes, vitamins, and minerals in freshly squeezed juices, milk, and other beverages you prepare at home and store in a vacuum jug. The jug, which you’ve vacuum sealed with the manual pump will also keep its contents completely safe from spilling during transport.

• Do not wash the pump in the dishwasher because this could lead to problems with sliding action. If operation becomes less smooth after years of use, extend the pump fully and lubricate the inner tube with paraffin oil.
