The THULE HANGON 3 974000 is a simple, lightweight and easy-to-use towbar-mounted bike rack designed to transport up to three bicycles. With a total load capacity of 45 kg, it is a practical solution for everyday rides, family holidays and weekend cycling trips.

The strong towbar coupling requires no pre-adjustment before mounting, making installation quick and straightforward. Bicycles are secured to the carrier using soft rubber straps, providing a simple and reliable way to keep the bikes in place during transport.

THULE HANGON 3 supports bicycles weighing up to 15 kg each and accommodates a wide range of frame sizes, including junior bicycles down to 20". For bicycles with non-standard frame designs, such as some women's bikes, BMX or downhill bikes, the optional THULE Bike Frame Adapter 982 can be used.

The carrier has a simple hanging design without a tilting mechanism. This helps keep the construction lightweight, with the rack weighing only 7.2 kg, making it easy to mount, remove and carry.

When not in use, THULE HANGON 3 folds flat for convenient handling and space-saving storage. For additional security, the rack can be locked to the towbar using the optional THULE Lock 957.

The carrier does not feature integrated rear lights. If the bicycles or rack obstruct the vehicle's rear lights or licence plate, the compatible THULE Light Board can be added.
