The THULE ARCOS XL 906600 is an extra-large rear-mounted cargo box designed to provide 450 litres of additional storage space without taking up room inside the vehicle or on the roof. Its extra-wide design makes it ideal for family trips, winter holidays and transporting bulky sports equipment.

Mounted at the rear of the vehicle, THULE ARCOS XL keeps the roof completely free for bikes, kayaks or other equipment. Its aerodynamic position behind the vehicle helps minimise additional drag, making it particularly attractive for electric vehicles where preserving driving range is important.

The extra-wide interior can accommodate skis up to 180 cm long, making the XL version particularly suitable for winter sports. The box provides enough space for up to 5–7 pairs of skis or 3–5 snowboards.

A durable, weather-resistant hard shell helps protect luggage and equipment from rain, snow, dirt and road debris. Because the box sits low behind the vehicle, loading and unloading heavier or bulkier items is considerably easier than with a traditional roof box.

The integrated SlideLock system provides separate opening and locking functions and indicates when the box has been properly closed. Integrated rear lights provide a clean appearance while ensuring the required lighting functionality at the rear of the vehicle.

The low-profile design allows access to the vehicle's luggage compartment even when the cargo box is installed, making it practical during longer journeys where frequent access to the trunk may be required.

Important: THULE ARCOS XL is the cargo box itself and must be used together with the THULE ARCOS Platform, which is sold separately.
