Mounted behind the vehicle, THULE ARCOS features a modern, streamlined wing-shaped design. Its aerodynamic position helps minimise the impact on fuel consumption and the driving range of electric vehicles compared with carrying additional cargo on the roof.

The box sits low behind the vehicle, providing a comfortable loading height and making it easier to load and unload heavy or bulky items. Its low-profile, wedge-shaped design also helps maintain convenient access to the vehicle's luggage compartment.

A durable hard-shell exterior helps protect luggage and equipment from water, dirt and road debris. The smooth construction is also designed for easy handling and cleaning after travelling in challenging weather conditions.

The integrated SlideLock system features separate opening and locking functions. It automatically locks the lid in position and provides a clear indication when the cargo box has been securely closed.

THULE ARCOS L is designed for convenient installation, and the cargo box can be attached by one person. Individual parts can also be separated, making installation easier and allowing more compact storage when the system is not in use.

With external dimensions of 171 × 78 × 54 cm, internal dimensions of 140 × 50 × 44 cm and a maximum load capacity of 50 kg, THULE ARCOS L provides a practical balance between generous storage capacity and manageable dimensions.
