The SHIMANO DEORE XT PD-M8240 flat pedals are built for demanding trail, enduro and aggressive MTB riding, delivering excellent grip, stability and control on technical terrain.

An extra-wide 121 × 110 mm dual-concave platform creates a secure and supportive interface between shoe and pedal. The flush axle design maximizes usable contact area, while the concave profile helps keep the rider's foot securely positioned during rough descents, technical sections and jumps.

Each side features 10 replaceable traction pins with 12 available mounting positions, allowing the grip characteristics to be customized. Both 3 mm and 6 mm pins are included, making it possible to fine-tune the pedal to suit different shoes and riding preferences.

The forged aluminium pedal body combines durability with a relatively slim profile for improved ground clearance. A robust chromoly steel axle and sealed mechanism are designed for demanding off-road use, while the fully serviceable construction allows individual components to be replaced when required.
