ORTLIEB Vario combines the functionality of a backpack and bicycle pannier in one versatile design. With the Quick-Lock attachment system on one side and a padded carrying system with a chest strap and ergonomic shoulder straps on the other, the bag can be quickly converted from a backpack to a pannier.

A protective flap with an integrated pocket covers the unused side when the bag is used as a backpack, while the external zippered pocket keeps smaller essentials easily accessible. The roll-top closure provides quick access to the spacious main compartment, which includes a padded laptop sleeve for secure storage of electronic devices.

The waterproof hybrid bag is made from PVC-free PU-coated nylon and is sustainably manufactured in Germany. Its 20 L capacity and 9 kg maximum load make it suitable for everyday commuting, cycling and urban travel.
