The DUFFLE RS features a rugged, integrated wheel system with 100 mm profiled outdoor wheels and a reinforced aluminium base. This combination provides excellent ground clearance and helps protect the underside of the bag when travelling over rough surfaces. Instead of a heavy telescopic frame, ORTLIEB uses a length-adjustable towing handle, reducing unnecessary weight while ensuring comfortable handling.

For outstanding weather protection, the bag features an IP67 waterproof rating, robust PVC-coated polyester and Cordura fabrics, waterproof welded seams and a full-length TIZIP® waterproof zipper. When correctly closed, the main compartment is protected against dust, heavy rain and temporary immersion in water.

The large zipper opening makes packing and accessing equipment easy, while an internal compression strap helps keep the load organised. A practical sleeve for valuables and an external zippered mesh pocket provide additional storage options.

When the terrain becomes unsuitable for wheeling, the padded, removable shoulder straps allow the DUFFLE RS to be carried on your back. The foam-padded base improves stability when fully loaded, while the integrated wire loop allows the zipper to be secured with a suitable optional lock.
