Key Technologies
Prolite – Lightweight shell and cuff construction with strategically reinforced structural areas that provide strength, stability and efficient power transfer without unnecessary weight. This design maintains a responsive feel while reducing overall boot mass.
BOA® H+i1 Single Pull – A precision closure system featuring a single BOA® dial on the lower shell. Bi-directional micro-adjustments allow the fit to be tightened or loosened accurately, helping the shell wrap evenly around the foot and distributing pressure more consistently than conventional buckle closures.
Memory Fit – Atomic's advanced heat-fitting technology allows the polyurethane shell and cuff to be reshaped to the skier's foot and lower-leg anatomy. This provides improved comfort, a more personalized fit and better support in key areas.
True Size Mondopoint 22 – A dedicated shell construction for smaller women's feet, combined with a matching liner, provides more anatomically accurate proportions and a more precise fit.
Hawx Geometry – A carefully balanced combination of forward lean, ramp angle and foot positioning that promotes a natural, stable skiing stance and efficient ski control.
Flex Control – A removable screw at the upper rear cuff spine allows the skier to modify the boot's flex characteristics according to personal preferences and support requirements.
Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Cuff – A removable rear cuff spoiler allows additional space around the calf, helping accommodate different lower-leg shapes and improving comfort.
Energy Backbone – Structural reinforcement in key areas provides additional strength, stability and effective edge control for more confident skiing.
Dual-Sided Cuff Alignment – Adjustable lateral cuff positioning on both sides allows the cuff angle to be adapted to the skier's lower-leg alignment, helping improve balance, comfort and control.
PU Shell / PU Cuff – Both the shell and cuff are manufactured from polyurethane, providing consistent flex characteristics, effective power transmission and responsive ski control.
Low Cuff – All Sizes – A cuff profile 15 mm lower than the standard design accommodates women's lower-leg anatomy and helps reduce unwanted pressure around the calf.
Mimic Silver Liner – An anatomically shaped liner featuring softer materials against the foot, combining comfortable cushioning with customizable support. Its design helps maintain secure foot retention throughout the skiing day.
Mimic Technology – Special heat-moldable materials in the heel and ankle areas adapt to the skier's anatomy during the Mimic fitting process, improving heel retention and overall comfort.
Ankle Lock (AL) – Reinforcement around the ankle helps keep the foot securely positioned and reduces unwanted movement inside the boot.
Fully Heat Moldable – Heat-moldable liner materials allow individual adjustments to improve comfort, support and foot retention.
Hawx Fixed Tongue – A fixed liner tongue maintains consistent positioning over the instep and helps distribute pressure comfortably.
3D Stretch Toe Box – An asymmetrically shaped toe area for the left and right feet provides additional stretch and length around the big toe for improved comfort.
35 mm Velcro Strap – An adjustable power strap provides additional lower-leg support and helps maintain a secure connection between the skier and the boot.
6000-Series Aluminium Buckles – Lightweight, durable aluminium buckles secure the upper cuff and provide straightforward adjustment.
BOA® Lower-Shell Closure – Unlike traditional four-buckle ski boots, this model uses the BOA® dial to secure the lower shell. The cable-based closure helps distribute pressure around the foot for more precise adjustment and consistent support.
100 mm Last – Medium Width / MV – An anatomical medium-volume last designed to accommodate a broad range of medium-width feet while providing supportive, comfortable ski control.
15° Forward Lean – A balanced forward-lean angle promotes a natural skiing position and effective pressure distribution.
4° Ramp Angle – The internal foot angle supports a balanced stance and efficient movement.
Cantable GripWalk Grip Pads – GripWalk sole pads improve traction and walking comfort compared with traditional flat alpine soles. Their construction also accommodates compatible canting shims for alignment adjustments.
Size Adjuster – Sizing inserts can be placed beneath the footbed to reduce the internal boot fit by approximately half a size for more precise adjustment.
Fit Recommendation
ATOMIC HAWX PRIME 95 BOA W are an excellent choice for women with medium-width feet who want a supportive yet comfortable ski boot for progressing on groomed slopes and exploring varied all-mountain terrain. The 95 flex offers a balanced level of responsiveness without the demands of a very stiff performance boot.
The BOA® Fit System allows precise adjustment around the foot, while the aluminium cuff buckles and 35 mm Velcro strap secure the lower leg. The 100 mm medium-volume last, Mimic Silver liner and Memory Fit technology provide multiple ways to customize the fit. The women's-specific lower cuff and removable AFS spoiler are especially helpful for accommodating different calf shapes.
For the best fit, ski boots should be selected according to accurate foot measurements, foot volume and skiing ability. Professional boot fitting is recommended to ensure comfort, secure foot retention and compatibility between the GripWalk soles and the selected ski bindings.
