Key Technologies

Prolite – Lightweight shell and cuff construction with strategic reinforcement in key structural areas. This design reduces unnecessary weight while maintaining the strength, stability and efficient power transfer needed for confident skiing.

Memory Fit – Atomic's advanced heat-fitting technology allows the polyurethane shell and cuff to be reshaped around the skier's foot and lower leg, improving anatomical fit, comfort and support.

Hawx Geometry – A carefully balanced combination of forward lean, ramp angle and foot positioning that places the skier in a natural, stable stance and supports efficient ski control.

Energy Link – A reinforced connection between the rear of the shell and cuff that increases responsiveness and improves power transfer, helping the skier maintain control throughout each turn.

Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Cuff – A removable rear cuff spoiler increases the available space and volume around the calf, helping accommodate different lower-leg shapes more comfortably.

Energy Backbone – Structural reinforcement in key areas provides additional strength, stability and effective edge control for confident skiing.

Dual-Sided Cuff Alignment – Adjustable lateral cuff positioning on both sides allows the cuff angle to be adapted to the skier's lower-leg alignment, improving comfort, balance and control.

PU Shell / PU Cuff – Both the shell and cuff are made from polyurethane, providing consistent flex characteristics, effective energy transfer and responsive skiing performance.

Regular Cuff – All Sizes – A standard-height cuff construction provides balanced support around the lower leg across the model's size range.

Mimic Silver Liner – An anatomically shaped liner featuring softer materials against the foot and customizable Mimic technology. It combines comfortable cushioning with supportive foot retention.

Mimic Technology – Special heat-moldable materials in the heel and ankle areas adapt to the skier's individual anatomy during the Mimic fitting process, improving heel retention and comfort.

Ankle Lock (AL) – Additional reinforcement around the ankle helps secure the foot and heel comfortably in place during skiing, reducing unwanted movement inside the boot.

Fully Heat Moldable – Heat-moldable liner materials allow the internal fit to be customized for improved comfort, support and foot retention.

Hawx Fixed Tongue – A fixed liner tongue maintains consistent positioning over the instep and helps provide stable, comfortable support.

3D Stretch Toe Box – An asymmetrically shaped toe area for the left and right feet provides additional stretch and length around the big toe, improving comfort.

35 mm Velcro Strap – An adjustable power strap provides secure support around the lower leg and helps maintain effective contact between the skier and the boot.

6000-Series Aluminium Buckles – Lightweight and durable aluminium buckles secure the upper cuff and provide reliable closure with straightforward adjustment.

BOA® H+i1 Single Pull – A precision lower-shell closure system using a single BOA® dial. Bi-directional micro-adjustments allow accurate tightening and loosening, helping the shell wrap evenly around the foot and providing consistent support.

100 mm Last – Medium Width / MV – An anatomical medium-volume last designed for medium-width feet, combining comfortable support with precise ski control.

15° Forward Lean – A balanced forward-lean angle encourages a natural skiing stance and supports efficient pressure distribution over the skis.

3° Foot Abduction Angle – The foot is positioned with a slight outward rotation inside the boot, pivoting from the heel, to support natural anatomical alignment.

4° Ramp Angle – The internal foot angle supports balanced positioning, weight distribution and efficient movement during skiing.

Cantable GripWalk Grip Pads – GripWalk sole pads provide improved traction and walking comfort compared with traditional flat alpine soles. Their design also accommodates compatible canting shims for alignment adjustments.

Size Adjuster – Sizing inserts can be placed beneath the footbed to reduce the internal boot fit by approximately half a size for more precise adjustment.

Medium Flex Characteristics – The medium-stiffness construction balances comfortable forward movement with the support and responsiveness needed for controlled, progressive skiing.

Fit Recommendation

ATOMIC HAWX PRIME 100 BOA are an excellent choice for beginner to intermediate and progressing skiers with medium-width feet who want supportive, comfortable and customizable alpine ski boots for groomed slopes and varied all-mountain terrain.

The 100 flex offers a balanced combination of support and forgiveness, making these boots suitable for skiers developing their technique and confidence. The BOA® Fit System allows precise adjustment around the foot, while the aluminium cuff buckles and 35 mm Velcro strap provide reliable lower-leg support.

The 100 mm medium-volume last, Mimic Silver liner and Memory Fit shell customization offer several options for achieving an individual fit. Ankle Lock reinforcement improves heel retention, while the removable AFS cuff spoiler helps accommodate different calf shapes.

For the best fit, ski boots should be selected according to accurate foot measurements, foot volume and skiing ability. Professional boot fitting is recommended to ensure appropriate comfort, secure foot retention and compatibility between the GripWalk soles and the selected ski bindings.
