It depends on the model. 2022 and newer Genesis grills (E-325s, EX-325s, S-325s, SX-325s, EPX-335 etc.) come with CRAFTED-compatible cooking grates from the factory. Most also include the Frame Kit - but a few configurations require it as a separate purchase. If you're not sure, ask us before you order and we'll confirm exactly what your model needs.
Anything you'd cook in your kitchen - and a few things you can't. The pizza stone bakes thin-crust pizza at 250°C+, the griddle insert turns the right side into a flat-top for smash burgers and pancakes, the sear grate delivers steakhouse-style cross-hatch marks, and the roasting basket handles vegetables, shrimp and stir-fry. You can also still grill normally on the left side at the same time.
No! Start with the Frame Kit (the structural foundation) and one or two inserts that match how you actually cook. Most owners begin with the pizza stone or the griddle, then add the others over time. Every insert clicks into the same frame, so the system grows with you.
Yes! With the right adapter Genesis 2016+ and Genesis II 300/400 series are all CRAFTED-compatible, but Genesis II grills need both the Frame Kit and a set of matching CRAFTED cooking grates (different part numbers for 300 vs 400 series). Send us your grill's model number and we'll confirm the right combination.
Genesis is Weber's premium lineup, built to outlast the cheaper alternatives by years. The cookbox, lid, burner tubes and cooking grates all carry multi-year limited warranties (12 years on the cookbox and lid for most current models). We've seen original-owner Genesis grills still cooking after 15+ seasons with basic maintenance.

Most current GBS grillware (sear grate, dutch oven, korean BBQ insert, etc.) still fits inside the CRAFTED Frame Kit. The reverse isn't true rectangular CRAFTED grillware does not fit inside the older round GBS cutout. If you already own GBS accessories, they'll keep working on your new Genesis.
